Computer Latest Technology Android PC From Via

With the advent of Raspberry Pi and other similar devices, VIA has released its small creature called APC (from the confluence of the words Android and PC). Recommended price is $ 49 device. Consider as well whether it is an attractive device, as described by VIA. As fashionable Raspberry Pi, APC will be supplied as a payment without a body. However, neither the board nor its size should not confuse potential customers. With dimensions of 17h8, a fee of 5 cm can be easily connected to a conventional monitor or TV, to connect the keyboard and mouse, and immediately begin work.
FEATURES OF APC INCLUDE:

o       Processor - VIA WonderMedia ARM 11 - 800 MHz
o       RAM - 512 MB DDR3
o       Built-in memory - 2 GB
o       4 out USB 2.0
o       VGA and HDMI
o       MicroSD slot
o       The Ethernet interface

The device comes with a stripped-down operating system, Android 2.3. Company VIA has already said that will make every effort to port the Android operating system version 4.0.3 on the APC. How plausible this statement, at the moment is hard to say. The processor is not the same, and the RAM is not enough. However, as stated in a press release, the company VIA, the device can play back video quality 720p, as well as work with the codec H.264. For fans of technologies that do not harm the environment, there is good news. APC will consume 13 watts at full load, and only 4 watts in idle mode. Let's hope this is not the last device from VIA, as the likely failure of the APC is waiting for the market because of its configuration. The device is already available for order, but will only ship in mid-July.
