Corel Acquired the Software Rights Pinnacle


The company Corel announced the acquisition of a company of Avid software products intended for domestic non-linear editing, including Pinnacle Studio HD and Avid Studio. This popular software will be included in the product line for Corel editing digital media. The amount of the deal are not disclosed. "By combining the product lines Pinnacle Studio and Corel VideoStudio, Corel Corporation is now able to offer its customers the best in the market range of software solutions for nonlinear video editing at home, - said the executive vice president and general manager of products for working with digital media content in Corel Matt DiMariya - Our products provide a wide scope for the realization of creative ideas and allow home users to solve any problems from the simplest quick capture, video editing and transfer to the iPad to full-scale video processing, as in the professional video editor. 
The company Corel Corp. plans to distribute the Pinnacle software for nonlinear video editing at home through their own system of global sales. In this case the leading developers of Pinnacle will be included in a group of solutions for digital content Corel, which is also working to create such software as VideoStudio, PaintShop Pro, WinDVD,software Roxio. Thus, Corel acquired the rights to the following software packages: Pinnacle Studio, Avid Studio and Avid Studio iPad, Dazzle (including Dazzle Video Creator Platinum HD).
