Samsung has announced prices for the plates in a line of Galaxy Tab 2 for Russia. The line includes two devices - one with a 7-inch, the other with a 10.1-inch screen. Junior tablet has 8 gigabytes of memory and will cost 9990 rubles (only with Wi-Fi), and 13,990 rubles (with Wi-Fi and 3G). The best model with 16 gigabytes of memory will cost 14,990 rubles and 19,990, respectively. 10.1-inch tablet is already on sale in Russia, and 7-inch will be in stores in early June.
Both devices use a dual-core processor with a clock speed of one gigahertz and have a gigabyte of RAM. The plates are equipped with LCD screens, active-matrix thin-film transistor (TFT). The screens created in the proprietary Samsung - PLS. It allows you to increase the brightness and increase viewing angles. Screen resolution of the younger plate is 1024 by 600, and the older - 1280 by 800 pixels.
Devices have two cameras - a 3-megapixel on the back panel and 0.3-megapixel on the front. Both the tablet has a slot for cards microSD. The older model weighs 588 grams at a thickness of 9.7 millimeters, and the youngest - 341 grams with a thickness of 10.5 millimeters.
Battery capacity at the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is 4000 milliamp-hour, while the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - 7000 milliamp-hours. The devices support the work with satellite systems GLONASS and GPS, but the navigation module is available only in models with 3G.
Senior tablet on the characteristics of a device similar to the Galaxy Tab 10.1, which arrived in the Russian stores in late August 2011, but the new phone is cheaper. Prices for the "old" Galaxy Tab 10.1 at the time of start of sales began on 23 990 rubles.
